Armory Day 2012 will be celebrated with many twists and turns this year - like kites flying in the wind. Activities will take on a new focus and look from Armory Days of the past. While still honoring the unique history of this National Historic Site, the events of the day will especially be kid and family-friendly to include costumed mascots, Revolutionary and Civil War-era music, children's book-signing, live-actor skits, museum and grounds' tours, and kite making and flying. All events are free. Activities this year will be held on Sunday, July 1 and will run from 10am to 4pm.
